RadioDJ v2.0.3.1 Beta Released!

REA

I noticed a problem inserting a streaming track into a rotation in "Track from SQL Query" mode.

USE radiodj2031;
SELECT ID FROM songs WHERE ID = 57243;

The problem is present on both version 2.031 and 2.020.

To get around the problem, I created a manual event that loads the streaming track into the playlist and inserted "manual event" into the rotation and the track is loaded regularly.

The V2031 sound is great: congratulations Marius and thank you for everything you do.

I use Win7 and mariadb 10.4

Hi,

Will the 60' limitation on the generated playlists based on rotations will be sorted out or will it be a "feature"?...

I'm still with the V.2.0.2.0 and today radiodj stopped working with this error log:

Any advice?

Edit: mmmm it's the same error I got and posted in one of the last post in the 2.0.2.0 Beta thread

Have a look at this thread: https://www.radiodj.ro/community/index.php?topic=14633.0

and within it, stevewa has helpfully pointed us to a link here:

https://www.radiodj.ro/community/index.php?topic=14455.msg80126#msg80126 and there's another link within that thread where there has been some investigating of the problem.

See if that helps :)

I've noticed after upgrading to 2.0.3.1, my requests don't show the names in the stream title anymore. I still have it set to $artist$ - $title$ (Requested by $request_username$). Is there a database change that could have affected this?

Edit: Actually, it doesn't seem to be reading my stream title settings at all. No matter what I set them to, nothing changes. Any ideas?

Edit 2: This problem was caused by the renaming of the Now Playing plugin to Metadata Export. Editing the TextTemplate.txt file in C:\RadioDJv2\templates\Metadata Export to say $autotitle$ fixed it.

Hi !

I installed RadioDJ today on the Raspberry Pi4B with Windows 11.
All going well so far, but... always that 'but' hi...

I installed radiodj on D:\RadioDJv2 though all track-art images are in C:\RadioDJv2\Album-Art

I presume this is a bug .. how/where can i correct the path to the art images ?

I thought 32bit software wouldn't work on Windows 11? Or at least that was my understanding from a few articles I'd read.

Its great its working on Windows 11 I must get an ISO so I can test it myself

Hi Gary, old friend :)

I am an almost day one user of RadioDJ but my account seems gone :)
So made a new one :)

I had RadioDJ already about 2 months ago running on the Pi but because of an update error.. I presume i switched off just too early so i got stuck but yesterday i newly set up the Pi with an 500GB SSD drive.

How to install windows 11 on the pi you can read on the website worproject.ml (windows 10 needed to setup)
or you can use wor-flasher from the github that installs from Raspbian though only the Win11 Pro edition.
I am running Win11 Home as that version i can activate so i followed for this setup the worproject steps.

Wouldn't know why 32 bit wouldn't work... have not encountered any problems with old(er) software.
Only problem are with drivers as they must be for the ARM processor.
But i expect that would be a matter of time when also ARM drivers will come out for devices.

Greets,

Arno

OOh my.. well time to make good use of it then :) !
Better to use an external SSD on the USB3.0 slot as the SD-slot is very slow !

Fixed the problem for now by changing the path in the settings_general.xml !

Something strange happened to my database (thank god for backups)

It was taking tracks from the request queue and placing the song in the queue multiple times & it wasn't marking the songs as played.

I've had to go back to a backup from September to see when the issues may have occurred,

After restoring the backup requests are being marked as played again cannot see anything in event viewer that could shine a light on the situation

Just noticed while changing the metadata of a requested track,

I went to change the title clicked save and the track went from being marked as requested to being marked as a normal track meaning the request didn't get marked as played in the request plugin. is this a bug?

I don't do request, but a similar problem happens to me: If I add a new song from an artist which has been already played and marked red, the new song is not marked red.
