I was playing music earlier through RDJ and on certain tracks I was getting silence and songs breaking up.  >:D >:D >:D

Yet again it turns out to be a dying hard disk. I was lucky enough to get some files off before it decided it didn't want to play ball.

Now Windows won't find the drive.

Seriously if you have issues like this it could be your hardware to blame (NOT RADIODJ)

This is about the 4th disc drive to go wrong in about 5 years.

I'm cannibalising the SSD out of another PC to put in its place.

Old Spindle drives are a Ruddy Pain!

Put some oil on the spindle!

Lol the ssd will die eventually too

I know the SSD drives will go eventually but I'm likely to get a bit more life out of an SSD than I would a spindle drive

I am actually wondering if something is failing on the Tower its about 6 years old I think can't find the purchase email.

I remember buying it off eBuyer and I didn't realise it had been so long ago. I may swap this PC for Monkey's Tower if this one keeps freezing on me like it is

I wish computers lasted longer its the only real expense I have with RadioDJ.
