RadioDJ Pro Availibility

Hello,

I'm new here so pardon me if this has already been asked.

I was watching this video from back in June with Greg Ogonowski who said they have a timeline based metadata thing in RadioDJ Pro which they were using on a show here: https://youtu.be/fa-1EeymAjo?t=4704

I have a number of long form DJ shows people will be submitting and would love this capability to have Now Playing reflect what was played in their sets. My question is simple: Is RadioDJ Pro available for purchase? If so where?

Pro is not happening, don't hold your breath.

I absolutely know that PRO has been in testing all year - release is still set for 2021 - though we are coming to the end of the year pretty quickly.

People keep forgetting Marius's health conditions he has been having health issues mainly his Hip and i can attest to what Hip Pain can do to a person when mine flares up I don't have the get up and go to do things it saps my concentration and I'd imagine trying to code while being in pain isn't a great thing.

I'm waiting patiently like everyone else for the Pro version if its delayed then its delayed.

Any idea on pricing?

To be honest, my personal opinion always was: if there will be a paid version, I'll most likely go for it since I think you should pay for something that you use on a day-to-day basis.

These days I'm thinking way differently about paying for RDJ. There are quite some things that need to be fixed in the normal version for a (IMHO) long period of time. Every now and then we hear "working on it", but the last (beta) version has been released pretty long ago - considering the reported bugs. There have been times I thought it was showing signs of abandonware. Before I spend money on it, that has to improve drastically - not only for a paid version, also for the normal version with an userbase that has contributed to make RDJ what it is now. And yes I know of Marius' health situation, but that even makes my opinion about it stronger.

For me personally, after 4 years of using 3-5 live 2 hour sets per week so approx 800 2 hour sets, if the man put a donation link, I would donate even if the software doesn't go pro.  Compared to the thousands who have paid $300 for Sam Pro, that I can do pretty much the same thing with the combo of RDJ & Voicemeeter Banana (I have donated to VMB), a $100 would be a bargain.  The plain truth for what I do (which requires less radio station features many here require for their streaming radio stations) RDJ is rock solid, I have compared it to VDJ, Mixx, Sam Pro,  RDJ uses less resources, has very simple easy to understand layout, I never have had a database error.  I work with a lot of other DJs who complain about Sam from time to time failing. BTW I have been given 2 copies in past 4 yrs of Sam Pro they actually paid for, so I could have used SP, but why?   I am a happy RDJ user.  I have a dozen things I would love to see included, and if pressed I am sure I could double that.

Hopefully Marius health and body comfort level improves.  Best wishes

Nothing yet about the Pro version:)
I still have hope that it will happen this year or in January 2022, i would be eager to pay for the features promised for the Pro version.

Second, third and fourth here. Honestly, I have wanted to financially support RDJ for years - but there's no mechanism. I am still ready to send PayPal, Zelle, carrier pigeon, whatever - because although I am running v2.0.1.5 BETA it's been rock solid for me.

Even if I never get (or perform) another update - I would pay to play today.

Why do you guys want a paid version, RadioDJ Pro.
To be the first to complain that, this and that doesn't work properly. If there is a bug in the program, it should be fixed by Marius alone and not by a whole team. And to sell things there must be a company etc....

Donating via Paypal is a good idea.

I regularly check this website https://www.indexcom.com/products/radiodj/features/

It looks to me like the Pro Version isn't that far off as this page has only recently changed.  :bash:
