Old Versions of RadioDJ & Windows 10

I've been tinkering and I've gotten mysql 4.2 to install and radiodj 160 works on Windows 11

Sad news

v1.6.0 no longer works on Windows 11 👎

I tried using it yesterday and it threw exceptions on rotation loading tracks into the queue

So I think its time for me to ditch 1.6.0

I only had it installed for nostalgia 😀

You should upgrade to 1.8.2. IMHO it was the best version

I am actually using the latest version on W11

I haven't tried 182 for a long time yes it was a great version

I prefer the 2.x.x versions because of the colour editing features among other things

I can make RadioDJ look as I want with the 2xx version

Yet 1.6.0 is performing on Windows 10 as if its a new version of the software

As to what ,NET changes there have been on Windows 11 for RadioDJ rotations to fail I'm not quite sure.

Its good to get nostalgic RadioDJ v1.6.0 worked like a Dream way back in 2011-2012

I had many happy hours using that before the beta tests that lead to v1.8.2

Weird to think its 14 years since I discovered RDJ
