Support for executing batch (.bat) files
« on: December 01, 2021, 08:56:39 AM »
Hi Marius,

Can we have support for executing executables also include batch files ?

I have a relay control to pulse a USB relay that requires a relay turn on and a relay turn off (pulse) to switch the studio switch (Elan Aufio RMD-01).

I have used one of the bat2exe programs, however this is fraught with problems as some antivirus programs see it as a threat because some script kiddies use it for nefarious purposes - (make up a batch file that does what nasty thing they want, convert it using the bat2exe program and then rename it to something that is seemingly harmless to the uninitiated).

This woud be a great help.

Kind regards,
Chris

Yo Dog, you don't need to ask for this feature.

You can call your batch file using  cmd.exe /c start c:\test.bat

c:\test.bat
Code: [Select]
@ECHO OFF
ECHO Hello World!
PAUSE
