I've had the same database since 2014 (year not version) but its a complete mess  :bash:

I've decided after we come out of Beta testing with the next stable version that I'm going to start my database from Scratch again.

14,000 tracks in my music folders. I may be sometime In a darkened room with lots of Coffee  :hihi:

it was Marius saying test 2034 with anew database that made me decide to start from scratch again.

7 and a half years worth of work isn't something I'm giving up lightly

A Fresh rebuild after 7 years with 14-Thousand Tracks will be the best New Years Resolution Ever.

Stealing from the o'l commodore 64 days  ......   I ADORE MY RadioDJ 2.0.3.4 !

I had a Commodore 64 with Floppy drive I paid a friend of my Brothers £200 in 1989 for it.

Bloody good computers were C64's

So far 2.0.3.4 is performing as a good radio playout suite should over a week since I restarted my copy

Could you export everything from one database and then import it into another?

Even if you're adding/changing fields, couldn't you at least transfer the old field values that will remain the same into new fields?

I'm hoping for a database update file in the future instead as there are so many intro and other adjustments with cue points to redo :)

Even if there is a Database upgrade script  I still think I'm better off starting again.  :bash:

My Song ID numbers are all over the shop

I've spent most of today sorting and filing songs in my database the "Delete from disk" feature from tracks manager has enabled me to trim the fat from the database

I had duplicates to ditch & I also shaved about 1200 songs off my database songs list (Obscure Album tracks)

I'll be seeing song titles in my sleep  :hihi: think I'm taking a break before my Brain melts
