Actually, I tested again now what HITS Radio mentioned and it WORKS. Sam Cast updates now the song title on the server.
It is necessary to open the port 8181 from windows firewall and check "enable title streaming" in Sam Cast encoder settings.

As I said previously you must have some Magic Voodoo because I've now tried 6 times on fresh VDI's of Windows 10

I've unblocked ports, I've followed the instructions posted on this topic and I cannot get now playing information from RadioDJ into the stream it just isn't happening here.

I'm utterly baffled WHY SAM cast has such trouble pulling metadata. I'm not going to test again as that would mean more time wasted when I should be doing better things 

If it works for you then that great but I know it won't work for everybody.

It works with version 2.0.0.6 ( the one that i have in production) but i tested the same thing with 2.0.3.4 and it doesnt work. Weird indeed

I tested with RadioDJ 2006 & I still cant get metadata to populate... I'm out that's at least 7 times I've tried now

I doubt I'll be testing any further its all a bit complicated and doesn't work for everyone
