Not loading rotation tracks after upgrade from 2.0.0.6 to 2.0.3.7

I installed 2.0.3.7 on a new computer, installed the database, restored a 2.0.0.6 database from the production server, ran the 2.0.0.6 TO 2.0.1.6.sql. Opened RDJ and verified tracks, then relocated them in the new directory. All of my events are there, all of the categories, etc., but none of my rotations load for some reason. I even deleted history and reset playcount. Many thousands of tracks in the library so not a not enough tracks issue. What am I missing here?

Older databases are NOT I repeat Not compatible with 2.0.3.7 I read it somewhere among release topics

QuotePS: In case that you are not using v2.0.3.5, please do a clean install, as the database is not compatible with older versions. This also applies to restoring older backups!

I had to start my database a fresh recently after 7 years

Thanks for the info, but holy crap, I have to recreate all of my events, all of my rotation logic, etc? Why? Why would this be a thing?

Did you read this... Page 4 of Beta Release 2.0.3.7 to solve an issue Playlists etc...

From Marius...

"To avoid releasing a new version only for the plugin playlist builder, i added the fixed plugin in the downloads page, just replace the old one with the one from the new archive and it should work."

May help,,,

Yes, I read that and applied that fix before trying to run auto DJ, but my issue has nothing to do with the playlist builder. It has to do with track rotations, but thanks for the info.

I thought I had read somewhere in that same thread that @Marius said he had everything together to make a DB update SQL file but just needed the time to do it.

Do you know which parts are incompatible? Can I just dump my events, or track rotations separately?

hello,
there is a problem with the rotations when running 2.0.0.6 TO 2.0.1.6.sql converter.
As a solution, you should rebuild from scratch your rotations or resave every item included in your rotations and then apply Save As to the existing rotations imported from 2.0.0.6. In my case it works like that.

I'll give this a try. Thanks.

I have spent thousands of hours setting up cue data. Intro, outro, hook in, hook out and I assume that is stored in the DB, and now there is no way for me to port all of that hard work over to the 2.0.3.7 DB?

Not at present, but I assume Marius is looking at making an upgrade tool...

I had the same issue. The cue data wasn't affected however. The only thing I had to do was to "open" each line of a rotation, and then re-save that line. Everything worked as before after that.

I tried this and it just kept inserting the same song in the playlist over and over. I saved each individual item, then save as for the rotation.

That would be excellent as I would hate to have to redo all of that boring, tedious work again. Would be nice if there was some way to export all that cue data for backup or future use.
