Guess it's not good for my health to get frustrated.
It takes all too long to get updates on a beta or stable release, or just a simple update.
Even if for a beta version, errors are regularly reported, no update is made or will be available on these reports.

Most disturbingly, in December 2021 it will be reported that a pro version will be released in January 2020.
in the meantime we are already half a year further. and there's nothing yet.
I don't even feel like looking for the link where this was reported

The best thing for me is to completely stop with the program, including the info site.

I will continue to use the program at home.
And keep reading the forum posts.

but best wishes from Jhonny

I think I'll just go fishing.
The Netherlands is rich in fishing waters.
Also close to my house.

Sad and shocked to hear this @Jhonny.

Your website and forum input over the years has been valuable to everyone.

Sometimes a Day of Fishing can fix almost everything ;)

All the best my friend.

I understand your frustration Jhonny and I hope after some fishing you will be back here. I appreciate and value your comments and contributions to the forum. Your advice has helped me out on many occasions.

Enjoy the fishing and hope to see you here again.

Sadly to say I feel the same  :'(  I can't understand why Marius is holding back to, by his choice: 1 make it open source, or at least open for external plug-ins, or 2. Publish the paid version with 'focus on desired improvements' (when possible technically ofcourse) as proposed by many in this forum.

I'm off on holiday now, (Schwarzwald and Camarque for who likes to know) still being a happy Radio DJ user, but fading quickly sadly to say...

Come on Marius, please help us out. At least with an ETA..! And have a happy summer too -  :-*

I'm sorry Jhonny! I'm still working in the background and reading all the feedback, but there are things that are out of my control, like when the pro version will be out. Other than this i can't release a new version for each reported bug as i will confuse the users. It's not an easy task for everyone to update the program that often, especially when the program is used in production environments.

Also, i wonder it's such a big deal to use a version, even if its marked as beta if in your tests is working fine. The fact that i will mark it as stable, won't really change anything. The fact that I wait to be sure that most of the bugs are reported and fixed before marking the next version as stable it should weight more than just hurrying to have a "stable" version.

Sadly we are living difficult times and at least in my case in the last two years i was more often in the hospital than in the past 20 years, so yeah, getting older is no fun. Even so, the free version is updated and a new version is on it's way. The free version is my way to show my gratitude to all the users which were helping me until now and it exists only for this reason, it doesn't bring any financial help to anyone, beside the user who is free to download it and use it as it wishes. If it's too little or not, you decide.

I hope you don't quit forever with your support Jhonny.

I haven't asked much on this forum yet, but you did help me out a couple of times. Your website has been a help for me to, it helped me understand the SQL-rotations. At least, a little bit of it, still learning.  :hihi:

I also understand the frustrations in updates for the program. I'm still using the 'latest version' 2.0.0.6 and it works. But I don't want to change to one of the beta-versions just because it's beta. Also because the update requires me to change some files and some database changes. I'm afraid my database will get lost after doing so.
I sure hope that, together with an update, there will also be an updater program that does these things automatically.

Anyway, Marius, work your magic, but your health comes first!
And Jhonny, have a nice holiday en I hope to see you back on the forum very soon!

You should move the site to the host I found in Poland after I had to evacuate from Ukraine. Much much cheaper than that

You can always try to move your site to "Google Sites": sites.google.com

It's free and easy to use.
