Prospective user - Multiple inputs/sources

Good afternoon all

new here. i tried doing some searches but i am either using the wrong keywords... or my tentative use case has not been encountered yet.

We run a 'comparatively' small radio station in Malta.
I am looking to see how we can integrate RadioDJ for our station.

We mostly broadcast from client's location (RF links or IP) and are looking for an automation software that can use multiple sources.
my main idea was to use multiple soundcards as inputs but the software does not seem to support this.
I have managed to access the IP streams via the AUX players... but i still cannot work out how we can get the AUX players to grab the audio from a secondary soundcard (we have 2 RF links)

I am also experimenting a bit with events... trying to get the source switching to be done automatically on schedule... still trying to figure out how to do fade in/out.

Also, if we figure out how to solve these issues and get everything integrated... i have no idea how to go on about getting the software licenced... if anyone could point the way forward, it would be great.

Im pretty sure VB Audio the maker of Voicemeetr has a new app that would enable you to get all the inputs you require

I think its called Matrix

Hi

yes... i saw that...

it allows me to use as many inputs as needed... but how do i then get radio DJ to switch from one input to another automatically?
at the moment i am manually switching faders on the console... but would like to get this automated if possible

interesting

but this would still depend on an internet connection (stable) at the source... and this is not always the case for us.
At the moment we have 2 IP sources (Barix encoders)... and 2 STLs over RF...
the janky idea i have at the moment is to have multiple USB sound cards receiving each source and connected to a main computer which would then do the automation...
but RadioDJ only accepts onec soundcard input

you might play around with a powershell script which would mute / unmute the various audio inputs, and that could be called by windows task scheduler
