I know many struggle with daily weather reports. Imagine if you could set-up a system that runs automatically. This AI-powered workflow blew me away! Here's what I'll show you how to do...

1. Get a weather report for your city
2. Send weather data to a custom spreadsheet
3. Create VO script from the spreadsheet
4. Push script to AI voice creator, Eleven Labs
5. Record audio weather report using AI voice of your choice
6. Upload audio file to radio station computer
7. RadioDJ automatically plays weather report

AND, do it in...under 20 seconds! I'll give you a moment to duct tape your head back together.

I guess that Elevenlabs is blocking the Make workflow from accessing the API (Trying to stop people from abusing the free service, I guess). I can generate speech directly on the Elevenlabs site, but using my API key via Make gives me this response:

The operation failed with an error. [401] {"detail":{"status":"quota_exceeded","message":"Unusual activity detected. Free Tier usage disabled. If you are using proxy/VPN you might need to purchase a Paid Plan to not trigger our abuse detectors. Free Tier only works if users do not abuse it, for example by creating multiple free accounts. If we notice that many people try to abuse it, we will need to reconsider Free Tier altogether. Please play fair.\nPlease purchase any Paid Subscription to continue."}}

I decided to eliminate the use of Elevenlabs. I just save the weather text to a file in Dropbox. On my local PC, I use Balabolka to convert it into speech & save as an MP3. Balabolka can do this via a command line batch file. Same results. Sounds almost as good, and I don't have to pay anyone for the voice generation.

hey thanks, that looks cool for testing TTS, especially the bal4web version to use cloud services for voices

@JackRabbit Nice workaround! Yes, sounds like ElvenLabs is crackin' down. SO many YouTubers are doing vids about them...the word is out!
