Hello everyone,

I'm working on a plugin for my Telegram channel that should broadcast currently playing titles from RadioDJ. I am self-taught and facing an issue: I'm unable to correctly send textual messages of the titles. I've tried several solutions, but I can't get the code to work as desired. Specifically, the issue seems to involve an SQL table—I'm unsure which table is used for the now planning. Everything works, including the database query as shown in this image , but on Telegram, I see this notification https://ibb.co/K0ry6wX.

I'm not sure if it's possible to copy the PHP code, but if needed, I can share it without any issues. If anyone has experience with PHP code or has encountered a similar issue, I would greatly appreciate any advice on how to proceed. Thank you in advance for any help!

THere is already a free wordpress plugin that will post to telegram using a telegram bot

I think you would have to look at the "now playing" plugin and tie it into your telegram plugin

And of course for the "now playing" plugin to work you need the radiodj wordpress plugin

Hello, yes, there are WordPress plugins for publishing on a Telegram channel, but they only publish posts. I named this plugin "radiodj to telegram" and solved the "Now Playing" issue by fetching the data directly from the SQL "history" table. This plugin does not require the "radiodj-for-wordpress-0.7.0" plugin to be installed and it sends the currently playing track along with its cover art. I made sure that if the cover art is not found online (iTunes), a custom cover created by me will be used. There is an option to set the sending frequency on Telegram from 0 to 60 minutes, completely disable the plugin during specified hours, or disable it for the entire day. You can also upload a custom cover image, which will be sent if the track's cover art is not found. If you want to see how it works, you can subscribe to my Telegram channel "@RADIORV1EVENTI."

That's why i suggested the  "now playing"  plugin. It already ahs the code to show what's now playing and the actual album art on your server
