Quote from: plauri on August 03, 2024, 07:27:18 PMI don't know, I try to guess: did you try to start 2 radiodj sessions together?

Thanks again for trying to find out what caused this error.

No, I only have a Radio DJ v2.0.4.1 under Windows 7 Home (LEGAL)

Right now I can't repair the database because I'm broadcasting a talk show that ends at 11:00 p.m.

I know that you have explained to me that nothing will happen to my configuration and that I will not lose anything.

Before repairing the database should I close Radio DJ and Butt?

No, you don't have to close anything and you can even continue to broadcast your live talk show. It takes just a few seconds, nothing will happen.

So I'm guessing you've never done a database backup? Absurd. Why don't you click, just out of curiosity, on the various windows and try to understand what they do, until you find the right one? in addition to database backup...

Repair database (1 second)

Optimize database (1 second)

Finally, I just did the daily backup and it connected to the server perfectly.

I hope the problem has been solved.

Thank you very much for your help,

Note:
Following your instructions, I have not closed the Radio DJ v2.0.4.1 program nor have I stopped transmitting on FM or Streaming.

Yes, yes....the technician who configured the entire system for me also taught me how to perform a daily backup and I have sometimes had to restore the database because I made a mistake in some rotation...

Unfortunately the error continues:

Database repaired and optimized.

It seems to be a Windows 7 error because I don't think it is a Radio DJ error

Please, if someone with high computer skills can help me I would be very grateful.

I'm not an expert in .NET or anything like this, but this part of the message looks to me like 2 apps/databases etc are trying to use the same port, 3306 in this case, at the same time.

If you use 2 instances of RadioDJ with different databases, they'd need to use diffeent ports.

It might be a completely different app that's accessing that port already when you try to start RadioDJ. Have you changed or installed anything just before the error started happening?

No, I have not installed any programs since installing Radio DJ on this computer.

I only work with one instance.

I only have a Radio DJ running (24/7)

Possible solution:

(I repeat this procedure every time I import new songs to Radio DJ.)

After many tests from August 4, 2024 until now, I want to share with all of you what could perhaps be a solution to my problem.

Since last August 4, 2024 at 1:15am, Windows 7 (home premium) notified me of an error and until today, August 5, 2024 at 12:47pm, I have not received any error messages and Therefore Radio DJ has continued to function perfectly 24/7

The process I have carried out is the following:

1 - I import songs to Radio DJ

2 - Verification that the import has been correct.

3 - I repair the Database.

4 - I optimize the Database3.

Following this procedure, I have managed (at least for now) to prevent Windows 7 from giving an error again and consequently, Radio DJ empties its PlayList and stops working.

I hope I could have helped.

Thank you very much to everyone who has helped me.

a db repair is not going to fix the issue.

download and run TCPView to see which programs are using port 3306.
https://live.sysinternals.com/Tcpview.exe

it should be only mysqld.exe (the database server program), and the local address of your RadioDJ installation.

if RadioDJ is listed multiple times, with the same PID (Program ID, the instance of RDJ), then it could be plugins, scripts and the DB Backup program running at the same time. Maybe one of those are conflicting and causing the crash.

if it is more than that, then you have a second program trying to use port 3306 at the same time.

Thanks for your opinion.

I do not have enough computer knowledge to dare to take this test...
