Analog radiomixer and Radio DJ

Hi there,
Last night I found our Pacific radiomixer 18 in our garage :-) The idea came up that we should start using it again. The problem is that it is 100% analog. Yes, we can connect it and use it as a regular mixer (sound in and out) and stream with a streaming computer, but we want the on-buttons for each channels to trigger the cart wall and the "start next" when broadcasting live.

Send the high/low-analog-signal (when pressing the on-buttons) to an arduino and connect the arduino to Radio DJ and take out the digital signal to Radio DJ in some way?

Have any one tried to connect Arduino to Radio DJ?

Any idéas?
