I've had RadioDJ installed on my desktop for years. I'm trying to install it on a laptop.  I can't seem to get past connecting HeidiSQL to RadioDJ.  I stalled MySQL with a password.  I put that password into RadioDJ and get an error.  Do I leave "root" as my username or the one I created at MySQL?  I also got an error say "Unknown database radiodj2041. Help. Thanks.

The unknown database error is simple to fix. In the database connect tool there is a button at the top that says Install Database. If you click that it might sort itself out.

If you've installed MySQL locally you might be able to use the root account to log in, or more likely the one you created as both should have permission to connect to localhost.

Leave the MySQL server address as 127.0.0.1 if installed locally and the port number should be 3306
