I Have Cancer

I've got a rough couple of months coming up finally had all my scans ad they're starting my Chemo next week

I'm really not looking forward to it but needs must, it'll be every 15 days after that until its gone (That's saying it Goes)

I' already feeling like crap and according to the website I've read for the treatment I'm in for a couple of rough couple of months

I'll have RadioDJ keeping me company while I recover that's the only upside I can see

Well I've made it through my first Chemotherapy session and its knocked me for 6

I'm on tablets for the next few weeks and im back in about 12 days for more chemo

I wish the side effects would calm down thats the only downside

I took my laptop to the hospital with me for my latest round of Chemotherapy

It took away the boredom of just sitting there

2049 performed brilliantly some of the mixes between songs were superb

I'm just about to go through my 4th  cycle of Chemotherapy still got a few more session's

This Hodgkins Lymphoma is really taking it out of me and I'm feeling quite poorly at the moment 😕

However theres one thing getting me through these tough chemo sessions RadioDJ

I've been taking my laptop and headphones to the hospital and thats relieved some of the boredom and makes the sessions fly by

I hope to be cancer free sooner rather than later

Its fair to say that I'm probably nearing the end of Chemotherapy

But boy its been a rough ride I've ended up in hospital after 3 of my Chemo sessions

I keep getting infections what with my immune system being shot

Last Sunday I got rushed into hospital with suspected Sepsis which turned out to be a water infection spent 3 days on a ward

My next Chemotherapy session is on Wednesday but before that I'm hopefully having a pet-ct scan on Monday to see how things are progressing (Thats if my blood sugars behave)

This cancer malarkey has left me weak and battered and bruised but I'm determined to see it through

At least RadioDJ gets me through the Chemotherapy on my laptop thats a godsend.

Well I had some good(ish) news from my cancer consultant yesterday

The latest pet-ct scan is showng the cancer is nearly gone one last push with chemotherapy ad it should be totally gone

Fingers crossed that I should be cancer free by Christmas

However Chemotherapy is stll knocking me for six and I've lost a lot of weight and muscle, cancer has definitely been a rough ride for me

Still onwards and upwards thanks for the support on here 👍👍👍
