One of my sound cards not in the list (2.0.4.8)

After upgrading to 2.0.4.8 (from 2.0.4.5) it seemed like all  was working flawless at first, but after makeing a change to the Options and having to restart RDJ, I found that one of my soundcards is no longer in the list.

I shouid have:
- Rodecaster Pro II Main
- Rodecaster Pro II Chat
- Rodecaster Pro II Secondary
- CABLE Input (VB-Audio Virtual Cable)

(Main and Chat use the same USB connection, Secondary uses a separate USB connection)

In 2.0.4.8, my 'Rodecaster Pro II Secondary' is no longer available in the list of sound devices. It works fine in Windows though, shows up in Device Manager and in any Windows audio / mixer settings.

When I copy back my old 'soundcardslist.xml' file, all audio plays correctly via the correct audio channels (soundcards), but when opening Options > Sound devices, the Secondary sound card again is not in the list. So each time I change something in Options and RDJ wants me to restart, my soundcard configuration gets faulty and I need to replace the soundcardslist.xml file again.

Nothing in my hardware configuration, cabling or software configuration has changed since the upgrade from 2.0.4.5 to 2.0.4.8 .

Has anyone seen this issue, and what goes wrong here?

Thanks for reporting, i will check asap. I'm also curious if any other users have this issue. I'm having 4 sound cards and all are displayed properly, so i wonder what can cause that in your case.

My soundcard shows as "Default" where on previous RadioDJ version it would be "Realtek Audio".

my Soundcard doesn't recognize my RodeCaster Pro now too on RadioDJ 2.0.4.8!
It's working fine on Windows 10 (ON AIR).

However on Windows 11 it now doesn't show up and only shows defaults in RadioDJ but is CORRECT in the Windows 11 settings
I think the latest Windows 11 update might have changed something.

I have the same problem, I have D&R Airlite. Built in Soundcards 4 In/Out

Before i have seen all the 4 soundcards in List of Audiocards in RadioDj
But now, i see onl 3 soundcards of the D&R Airlite

However in the Windows Sound settings i have seen all the soundcards are present, test the soundcards works fine.
I also changed some settings on the soundcard ->uncheck allow applications to take exclusive control over device

But after some checks i was able to find the sound card.

My situation:
I have 4 Usb Soundcards Built in the Mixer
I have 4 External Behringer external sound cards.

By disconnecting this , finally i found my missing sound card.
I  counted my audiodevices in the Sound Control Panel and i counted the sounddevices in dropdownlist
In the drowdownlist i have seen less audio devices then in the Sound Control Box
Maybe a small mistake in the software that not show all the sounddevices,
( I use WIN 10)

Yes Marius. Windows 10 shows my USB sound card (RodeCaster Pro Stereo Out) as it should, but Currently NOT Windows 11.

My main audio card does not work Windows 7 version 2.0.4.8

In Windows 10 Pro and RadioDJ v2.0.4.8, my audio feed by HDMI to my monitor is not displayed. Only as DEFAULT.  Under Windows 10 and RadioDJ v2.0.4.5 it is displayed as E225W-1920(Intel Display Audio) and works as the cue monitor.

Change of plans, i will not create an app to debug, because i have a clue what's going on, but i need to research a bit more,
My code that lists the sound cards didn't changed recently, so it's either a bass engine modification, either a windows change.
With the same version of rdj in direct sound (which is in the free version) my HDMI monitor is not displayed at all, but when i switch to WASAPI, the monitor is displayed.
Regarding the names, especially what's displayed as "default", that is reported by OS. I still have to debug it more deeply to see what's going on.
