New Update is BROKEN for Audition CS 6

There is a new patch available (EDIT UPDATE) but early reports indicate it breaks the Broadcast limiter so I'd hold off updating.   For info of what it fixes see list below.   Haven't had any problems with the pre patch

LOL, yes I have version 3 as well.  3 is the best of the bunch feature wise but is very slow loading compared to Version 5 which is CS 6.

Yikes.   I haven't installed the latest windows update so no issues with Audition CS6.  They have a new patch which I installed and Adobe's update is now all  good and isn't broken anymore.   I'll do the dreaded Windows update tonight and I'll let you know if it does anything bizarre .  I can't see why an update would cause it not to launch.  Did you install any third party VST plug ins?

This is a shot in the dark, but try reinstalling it. It sounds like the update changed some permissions somewhere.

If that don't work, you may have to do a System Restore back to when it was working. Then you could write down the updates that come up and research them to find the culprit so that you can avoid the issue coming up again.
