Encoder Plugin v1.3 for RDJ

When i try to download all i get is a zip file with a htm file.

Installation:
I have put together two installers - One for Build 6 and earlier, the other for Build 7 which is denoted by "V7" at the end of the file name. The installers deposit the Plugin_Encoder.dll file and it's xml into your main RDJ directory and creates a subfolder "encoders" and installs them. Restart RDJ for it to detect new plugin. The files are too large to attach, so there is a download link in the attached zip files.

I had the same issue as Gary it installed to a folder called Radiodj inside the main folder, i have mine installed on a separate SSD drive on it's own.

All fixed just moved it to main folder.

Works good here on the latest beta, got a question with some encoder i used the VU meters to work out if i had the output pushed to high, since this does not have them whats your opinions of the best way to regulate output.

Snowhow can we get some meter or something to let us know that the feed is going out please sir, it kinda hard try to log on to the feed to see if it';s connected, just a taught dont know if you was asking that Bogo

It's not that difficult to tell if your stream is up or not just keep your shoutcast server/admin page open in your web browser. Refresh it when you want to check by using F5.

That is what the "Connected" checkbox is for. If it's checked, you are connected. If it's not, you're not.

today i didnt know that i was connect to the shoutcast i would see the on line feed keep connecting and disconnecting and i didnt know why i kept asking what in the world is going on and it took us about 30 min befor we firgure out that it was the new plugin connect because there was no normal sign in the studio that told us that the encoder was connect  and the only way we figure it out was our station encoder would connect after we close radiodj and dis connect when we would open it and it dawn on me the new plugin i was messing with at home smh and that how we figure it out

I installed the encoders in de root dir Radiodj\encoders . but cannot get it to work. The green + opens the tracks list..

What am I doing wrong?

The Plugin_encoder.dll needs to be in the Main RDJ folder. Along with the plugin_encoder.xml file.

Both are in the root dir. Encoders are in the radio\encoders map

Have you restarted RDJ?? It won't show up until you restart the program. Also check the File permissions under properties.

The Encoder Plugin only works on the New Beta Version 1.6.1  it will not work with Earlier versions such as 1.6.0 which is in the screenshot.

You will have to use some encoder standalone or similar with 1.6.0
