Just installed it. Absolutley loving the new $request_username$  variable. It works!!

I have mine set like this under stream titles request $artist$ - $title$ [Requested By $request_username$]

If you set to play it on intro, it will be played only if the song has a intro and at least one sweeper has the length less or equal with that intro.

Hi Guys
Downloaded and installed using method 2 and had a small problem

When I restarted RDJ about 2000 songs were disabled and I had to enable them

Seems ok now

Just to let you know:

Updated from v1.6.4.9 with method 2 flawlessly.

Had 2 consecutive nights with 58k songs and 0 problems.
With some tweaking kept mySQL well below 50mb during these nights!!

The database changed in version 1.6.4.9 so download that. Back up your database then apply the SQL update via database setup. You should be good to go with the later versions.

Shut down/closed RadioDJ and upgraded from 1.6.4.9 to 1.6.5.0 with step 2 in just seconds.  Quick!

One thing to note upon upgrade, Sound processing Compressor and EQ are re-enabled after upgrade (if they were disabled).

Also, Tracks Manger columns are re-set back to default.  These are just minor issues tho and easily correctable.  High frequencies coming thru better after upgrade.  Thanks!

This weekend i will be free, so i will have time to finish a few things i started for the new version.
Between other new features i will add a "WAIT" action for events, i have already implemented 2 dynamic categories (albums and years) and the subcategories for them will be populated from the tracks info. For example if you select albums, in subcategories will be listed all available albums.
