Play Count incorrect?

Running Win7 Ultimate 32 bit, 4 gig ram.  RadioDJ 1.6.5.7

I've noticed in the track manager that I have many tracks that list the play count as "0", but the color is Blue (That's the color I have chosen for "played" tracks.)

How is this possible?

Also, how long do tracks keep the "Played" distinction? (Blue, in my case)  Is this based solely on my rotation rules for "Don't play the same track for * minutes"?  When the time in minutes elapse, I assume the color will clear, and the track will be available for AutoDJ play again?  Do I understand this correctly?
