Hi,

No this is a separate piece of software which is capable of sending commands to the remote machine.

It can be set-up to use in-house or from any location around the world (not setup yet)

These can be all sorts of commands.
For controlling RadioDJ commands like "push ctrl+Y" or "push F1"

For the more advanced uses, it can delete processes, start programs, set focus etc etc.

In the end it can control a lot very easy once you've taken the time to set it up properly

regards,

what is the difference of this software and teamviewer?

Hi

Not having anything to do with this software (I do not have any share's)

This software gives you an easy pre-programmed control over some of the functions of RadioDj (start, play, pause, stop, kill, restart). This is mostly button based (like your tv remote)

Teamviewer gives you total control over a machine and allows you to do what ever you want, but it uses mouse control and the keyboard to control all.

So for me (I use this software in my bar or some DJ gigs, nothing fancy) I'm able to quickly skip to the next song or pause a song when I'm mingling with the guests.

So in short:
- teamviewer for total control of a machine
- Unified remote, some pre programmed control over RadioDJ

See what happens when you don't watch your own forum posts?  Things just blow up!  Sorry I haven't been checking back on this!  Neocobe, I'll have to give your download a try.

No problem, it's not something that could change the world ;-)

Just authorize your computer for a remote access, then download the Microsoft remote application for android. When you connect (via WiFi), don't forget to leave the audio with the remote PC (unless you have to take the output of RadioDJ from the android device). Not only you have RadioDJ on your tablet, with it's graphic interface but you also have all your computer with it.
Have Fun !

This is my simple RadioDJ Android Control, it can play/pause, stop and play the next track. It can also add tracks to top or bottom of the playlist by inputting the song ID, it can search the song db, display the playlist queue and now playing track.

I used an android emulator to capture my app in action...please click youtube link below

Nice!! Any chance we could download it to test it or haven't you fully compiled it yet?  I would like to be able to download and test this if possible so I can put it on my blog

My blog is dedicated to RadioDJ stuff and I think this would fit in nicely with all the posts.

Hi DJ Garybaldy, my android control was configured using a single IP address, if you have setup everything in one PC (RadioDJ with REST plugin running, MySQL Songs DB and Web server) then you can use my android control with no problem.

This control is consist of 4 files, one APK file for the client/android mobile device and three PHP files for the web server to display SEARCH RESULTS, NOW PLAYING and PLAYLIST QUEUE and these PHP files can be customized.  I am going to share this after finalizing on the user interface.

SOON  ;D

Has there been any more movement on this? and While I'm here, is there, or will there be a way to use the back end and control from HTTP? If I'm in front of a PC, it would save grabbing my cell phone?
Don't jump, if you do, you'll only fall and hurt yourself.
