I am using the HeidiSQL program that I seen mentioned on here a while ago. I noticed when I connected to mysql on here that I have more databases than just the radiodj one. Should I delete them all but the radiodj? Please advise.

No, let them.
When you get more to know how to handle a database you can use them as a example, for later.
grtz.
ps. if you want to know how to program in html, php and sql.

These are on my local machine. I have nothing running on here other than radiodj, mysql, and encoder. So I do not use this for anything else. I have my web hosting services for that other stuff.

Hum, I just upgraded the SQL. When I installed the upgrade the program, but then it had issues with some of the databases. I wish I would have copied down the log. But it is not happy with some of them.

MySQL and other SQL-servers use the various databases for internal purposes. One use for them is user authentication and rights management, amongst others.
Don't delete any of them and don't delete the root-user. Your SQL-server will be useless if you do.
