Track rotation error with jingles/Station IDs
« on: July 05, 2014, 04:03:59 AM »
In my rotation I have station jingles / station ids setup to IGNORE rotation rules, yet I look over the logs and there are  hundreds of entries concerning that RadioDJ doesnt have enough to rotate.

Any thoughts?

Are you sure that the error comes from the jingles subcategory?
For testing i imported only ONE jingle setup a rotation like this:

- Music
- Jingle
- Music
- Jingle
- Music
- Jingle
- Music

For jingle entries i disabled the repeat rules and the rotation was generated without any error.

I have almost the same problem.. But not with jingles, but with songs from specific subcategories.. More here..:

Last week problem did not occure, but today appeared again.. Still skipping valid subcat. And if I add songs form this skipped subcat manually into the queue, RDJ plays them without any problem.

Have you also tried this..? To add jingles manually, if it behaves the same way..?

Have you tried with Random selection instead of Least Recently/Times Played ?
