Crash on Database to Tags export?
« on: July 19, 2014, 02:33:11 AM »
Anybody else experience this since upgrading to 1.7.1?

Just curious.  I'll post error details when I get home.  Just wondering if anyone else was experiencing this.

Ok.  Maybe just me.

Running 1.7.1 on Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit, Pentium 4 2.8GHz, 4 gigs of Ram.

Prior to updating to 1.7.1, i never had this issue.

In Utilities, I select Tags Synchronization, From Database to TAGS.

Audio continues to run, but the screen freezes and goes opaque.

I get the error window, "RadioDJ has stopped working"

When I click on "View Problem Details", I get this.....

Description:

I just installed 1.7.1 finally and I didn't have that problem. I did a tag sync as a test and I did From TAGS to Database. It went all the way through. I have about 1800 songs loaded.

Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit, Dual Quad Intel Xeon @ 1.86GHZ,  16GB Ram

Make sure you have copied all the files over and not excluded any dll's.

I'm concerned about this "Problem Signature 09:   System.IO.FileLoadException".

I would try two things:
1. Run RadioDJ as administrator
2. Before using the tag sync to scan for invalid files

Ran as administrator.

Verified all tracks.

Still the same issue.

Just to update anyone else having this issue...

After upgrading to 1.7.2 this has stopped.

Tag sync seems to work beautifully again.
