Inserting a delay (auto mute) for an online stream

I am new to RadioDJ so please don't bite lol,

I have a specific issue that I'm trying to address and I can't quite figure out whether or not RadioDJ has the capacity to perform the task.

OK here's the spiel:

I have access to the IRN online news stream, I have set it all up and it's working perfectly.

So here's the issue, on the stream they announce the time at the start and it's always an hour behind

Is there any way to play the stream but factor in an automatic 2 or 3 second delay before it goes live? Hence cutting out the time stamp?

I have tried playing around with the events function but to no avail.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Thank you in advance :)

In event.

Stop play. (fadout is 3 or 4 sec.)
clear playlist
load stream.
delay 2 sec.
start play.
i tink works.

grtz.

I tried that but it still didn't insert the 2 second delay to cut off the time stamp at the beginning of the stream :(

This didn't work:

Stop play. (fadout is 3 or 4 sec.)
clear playlist
load stream.
delay 2 sec.
start play.

So try it this way:

Stop play. (fadout is 3 or 4 sec.)
clear playlist
delay 2 sec.
load stream.
start play.

Maybe that will work a bit better for ya...
