Mixer/Microphone Input
« on: August 09, 2014, 03:58:54 AM »
I am trying to run our mixer, an ElectroVoice BK-1232, to a Behringer U-CONTROL UCA202 sound card then into our computer. I then selected the Behringer sound card as the input device in RadioDJ. I have my headphones plugged into the Behringer sound card's on board headphone jack. When I turn the input on in RadioDJ and go to speak, I get an echo or "loop" of my voice in the headphones. Anyone have any idea what I need to change?

I also have the some encoder plugin installed for streaming..

Maybe try moving your headphones to your computer's headphone jack?
That's where I have mine at and I get no echo or loopback from it...

With my "rig" I have monitor speakers that allow me to hear EVERYTHING that goes out, including my own voice, but NOT through my headphones.

RDJ output->UCA202 output->Mixer->UCA202input->RDJ input You hav now a beautiful loop! :D
Don't set UCA202 input as the RDJ input, but to your encoder (if you are a webstation), or use another soundcart input as RDJ input to broadcast another signal (satellite or other) via RDJ...
