Instert the clock pips over the audio
« on: August 22, 2014, 11:17:47 AM »
Hello!

I would like to know if its possible to set the pips (acoustic time signals, the classic "beeep beep beeeeeep!") at every X:59:55, not on the principal player (so the song doesn't stop to play the pips) but on an auxiliary player so I hear the pips over the audio of the song.

Thanks!! ;)

TQ

Looks like you can.

Create an event with Select Plugin Action> Auxiliary Play from Database > Use the attached file (put it into your database first) and choose which player you wish it to play from.

I made this BBC style time signature for my station with Audacity, Pips File. If this one doesn't meet your needs you could always make your own.

A problem is only a problem if you can't find the solution.
