Going to have a play about with this over the next few days.

Got the 64bit version of Windows 10 installed.

Both Maria DB & RadioDJ are installed and working so there is absolutely no reason it shouldn't work for everyone.

It even prompted me to install .NET when i tried running the database setup. Which is a rather clever addition to windows!

It's already starting to look like it's going to be an OK OS not as fiddly as Windows 8 developer preview was. It wasn't that difficult to setup (Be warned you need a Microsoft account Hotmail/Outlook  account in order to use Windows 10)

Only thing I have found is that the DSP version of some encoder isn't being recognized by RadioDJ DSP plugin on Windows 10 not quite sure why that's happening. Maybe SnowHow will find a fix for that one.

So far so good going to spend the rest of the day tweaking it all.  :bash:

Thanks for the heads up on Windows 10 developer preview and glad RadioDJ is working as it should.

Keep us posted on your journey. ;)

Scrub that!!

Once I installed the visual basic files it saw the DSP plugin.

After a few tweaks and installing visual basic I have managed to get RadioDJ streaming.

My only problems with it so far were

Soundcard settings weren't remembered after a reboot.
Relocate tracks appeared to relocate the tracks and then SQL lost them somehow needed to do a manual import.
The audio was a bit scratchy even using Virtual Audio cables.

I don't know if this is because .NET isn't fully installed yet but will keep an eye on things as the developer preview progresses.

All in all i reckon Windows 10 is going be just as good as Windows 7..... Even if all the PC settings are different!

32bit install seems to be a lot more stable than the 64bit

But at least we now know there shouldn't be too many problems getting RadioDJ installed on windows 10 when Microsoft actually release it....

That's me done testing for the time being. Who's making the Coffee??  ??? I'm exhausted now think i need lie down in a darkened room!!

Thanx man, good to know.

I only put myself through all this to help others!

The better informed people are the better things will be in the forums when Windows 10 is actually stable enough for Microsoft to release.

I have No idea how it behaves with a touch screen device as I don't have a touch screen tablet/monitor but I'd imagine it will be pretty painless unlike windows 8 I hated that with a passion.

But the early signs are promising  :bash:

Been testing for a few weeks now and everything seems to be working rather nicely on Windows 10.

Just fired up the new 1.7.6 version on both the 32 & 64 bit boxes with no problems apart from having to give the RadioDJ folder full permissions and turn of windows "Smart screen" as that stopped RDJ from firing up at first.

All in Windows 10 looks like it's going to be a better OS than Win8!  :bash:

Great news and thanks for testing.  Now I won't have to guess and cross fingers when it's officially released.
