Oh, wait a minute, an encoder window showed up in another part of the panel and not where I expected it to show.

I am adding a new config now to see if that works because this encoder that's showing does not have the right settings.

OK, so now, I got the A******t to show up after using the Options>>Show and saving that but I am getting an exception that says:

"Unhandled exception has occurred In your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately."

One problem I see is that it looks like you have RDJ loaded in your documents folder. It should be in the root directory of C: I'm not sure if this is causing a problem or not.

No, it's in the Root C:\.

The exception is thrown because bit rate field in encoder configuration has been left empty.
This is a common mistake for new users.

I don't understand why you didn't like the new Encoder plugin from Marius - the one you installed first with the separate encoders window. It works and doesn't clutter main RadioDJ window. You can even use same configuration file. Just copy Plugin_Encoders_List.xml to main RadioDJ directory and all encoders will be there.
