I never used the album art since the first time it only found like 2 icons for over several thousand tracks. It is or rather looks like a great tool if it works.

I am currently running 1.7.4 on my main pc.  Before updating the main pc, I always update my backup pc first, to make sure that I don't experience any difficulties.  I updated the backup pc sequentially from 1.7.4 to to 1.7.6 to 1.7.7 to 1.7.8, and finally to 1.7.9.  Everything seems to be working okay, except my events are not loading.  Any idea as to what I may have done incorrectly along the way?

Do you see these events flashing ? maybe your BIG RED BUTTON is OFF? Just thinking!

You might have had a hiccup in the update to the DB. my events all moved forward just fine. I would check to see if they are even there. If they are not then something went wrong.

There is a bug here i 1.7.9

When the new inport (example > News), radiodj says the news file allready exist. But there is no file in the folder.
But when i called the file ...news.mp3 than radio dj inport the file ...

So the tag in radiodj > news.mp3.mp3 ??

Can annyone reduce the same probblem?

On import the filename is checked, not the path. So you may have a file named exactly the same in another place. Also check if it's not disabled.
Tags are not checked for duplicates.

that is the problem, i have search for the file, but i can not find the file, so i used another file name exact the same.
The last what i have done is the filename ..named  News.mp3 and yes radiodj inported the track but in the filename its now > news.mp3.mp3..
I am gonna search now more on it, if not reduce the problem than i make a film about it you can see later..

Sorry my mistake, 

The file most named  "Radio - News" and its was News"so the tag was allready there.

you have it right Marius.. I think it is the sun from today that was bright siny here in the Netherlands.

I know it was only supposed to be a stop gap until the other encoder was updated by it's author, but I was wondering if you were going to update the encoder you coded? I like it better because it has a log, and some stats. Both it, and the other no longer function properly with the new SHOUTcast DNAS server version 2.4.7.256. It streams, but does not show stats or listener numbers any more. And if I reboot the computer, I have to recreate the encoder each time. Not because it is gone, but because it will not connect for some reason until I delete it, and recreate it.

The some encoder encoder makes RDJ lag. Your encoder does not. I would prefer to use your solution if possible?

Installed RDJ 1.7.9 on a new PC running WIN 8
I used a personal method:

1) Installed fresh MySQL and Radio DJ 1.7.9 (obviously! , it's a new PC!!)
2) Restored DB from old PC (who run RDJ 1.7.8 )
3) Imported "settingsXXX" files from old-PC-RDJ-directory to new PC
4) Moved plugins I want to use from "Disabled" to "Active" folder on new PC
5) RUN!

Everything work fine!
