Playout Stream Causing RadioDj to freeze every couple of seconds

Hi there all!
I am so enjoying the RadioDJ software however what has caught my eye is that after installing Altcast software and loading three different streams to different servers causes the software to periodically freeze for a couple of seconds. This action however does not disturb the accual playout. Could it be that I am doing something wrong?

Do you mean the some encoder plugin for RadioDJ?

It's a known issue that should there be the slightest connection problem between RDJ and the streaming server the some encoder plugin will cause RDJ to freeze.

The only alternative is to install the streaming plugin from this post http://djgarybaldy.co.uk/radiodj-streaming-plugin/

I had this very same issue. It seems the encoder is the issue. I was using the one from Marius and also the one from Snow on here. Both had the same issue. So what my problem was also the VAC as well. If you are using them, use the ones that come from, http://vb-audio.pagesperso-orange.fr/Cable/index.htm they simply work way better than anything. Also, I would suggest you use the stand alone encoders. The ones when you put them into the RDJ interface cause some sort of issue. Not sure what that is but it is noticeable. Do this and I think it should fix your problem. I know it did for me.
