"BASS_OK" Error

UPDATE:  D'Oh! As I said, " . . . unless I screw up the file name . . . " And you never see it until you send your help request!  (There was an extra hyphen "-" at the end of the file name.)

I've seen this error (below) a few times with music tracks, but this time it was a major problem. The track is for a half-hour(ish) program as follows:

Category: Radio Show
Subcategory: Handfuls on Purpose (name of the show)
Genre: Speech
Track Type: File By Date (Date format yyyy-MM-dd.mp3)

It is played by an event as seen in the attached picture. I've been using this event for a couple of months, and it generally works great, unless I screw up the file name or something.

Luckily I was listening at the moment and after logging in via TeamViewer, I first dragged the track to the queue, but it was skipped. I then imported the track individually under a different Subcategory, then dragged it to the queue and it played fine. It was only a couple of minutes late.

So, I guess I'm looking for advice on preventive measures, or suggestions as to what the problem might have been.
