[SOLVED] Can not use Rest plugin on VPS Win 2008 / RDJ 1.81

Hello everyone. I've tried for two days to get RadioDJ 1.81 with encoder and Rest plugins to work on a remote VPS running Windows 2008 Std Server. I have it running fine nearly anywhere else including very similar VPS at GoDaddy. I can set it up on my win7 machine with correct settings, ftp to vps, won't work. Installed on VPS first, naturally, have done this 50 times if at all so not a newbie in the setup process, but keep getting same error on vps. Have installed almost all c++ and 4.5.2 .net.

Please assist as I'm dead in the water on this project until I can get this working. And yes ran as admin and all that. Perhaps the error details will tell you what it is and how to help:

It seems that the problem appears when the plugins are loaded. If you remove the rest plugin is still throwing the error?

Hi Marius. No, the error only occurs when rest plugin is installed.

BUT, I just solved it. As often is the case, it has nothing to do with RadioDJ or the plugins and everything to do with Windows.

Turns out that with the new - vanilla - server install, I had to turn on the 3.51 framework (2008R2). I was trying to make the install as slim least complicated as possible and actually didn't realize that that particular flavor of .net could only be installed in that way. I had 4.5.2 and some others, in my search for an answer, already installed.

So, please mark this as solved and if anyone else moves to a remote vps with 2008, this is the simple solution.
