RadioDJ + Windows 7 (VM) on VMware ESXi + Remote

I am new round here, very much in to online radio and computers
1st things first, this product is GREAT!
I have used many before and this is my fav right now (Airtime close second )
One thing thats taken me a little while to get going is the combo in the title, so thought I would share for anyone needing info.

The main issue is if you use MSTSC (or RDCM) for access aka RDP, the VM has no soundcard so rdj will moan and not work well, even unhanded exceptions sometimes

To get round this you need to:
1) Login to the VM NOT using rdp, even with the admin switch it wont work. I used the vmware client console. You could also use Teamviewer or VNC.
2) Install VAC (as administrator, right click run as...), I grabbed it from: http://vb-audio.pagesperso-orange.fr/Cable/index.htm
3) Reboot the machine then log back in using NON rdp again and start up rdj

You should now have a soundcard to keep rdj happy

Very thanks for this tip. Also running in VMware and could not solve this.
Also running SAM in VMware with no problems.
