Hi,

a database fallback, when the sql is on a NAS and the LAN is down that radiodj switched to a local database witch is in sync with NAS.

Sounds good, i will make some tests to see if it can be implemented with a minimal impact to the existing code.

Just a stupid question... If your local DB is synced with your NAS DB, why don't just connect RDJ to the local DB ?
Except if I missed something, same result, no code change in RDJ.

Your local DB server has just as much a chance of failing as the remote. On that note, all of my installations all use a remote DB server (Linux/MariaDB). Having a fallback server to use would be great. Any sort of failover capability built in to RadioDJ would be welcome.

Ok, I thinked your goal was to sync between several studios or something like that  :ok:

I'm managing my own servers for more than 10 years and never get a mysql failure, but why not.
That's always good to have a fallback option ;)
