Possible Bug In Playlist Builder

Using v. 1.8.2

When creating and saving a playlist containing a File By Date track that has no existing file with the current date, if the playlist is re-opened the track does not appear in the playlist. This seems to also affect existing playlists with File By Date tracks. If there is no file with today's date, the track is dropped from the playlist when it is opened in Playlist Builder. I checked, and the tracks were not disabled.  I never encountered this with previous versions. Full disclosure: we jumped from 1.7.7 to 1.8.2 a few days ago.

This makes it impossible to create or even check a playlist with a File By Date track unless a file with today's date exists. 
 
Any insight or help for this?
