BUTT Encoder and Stream Titles

Hi.

Am I missing something here?  BUTT connects to my SHOUTcast Streaming V2 server, so that's a good start, but the currently playing Artist - Title information is not getting passed.  I don't see a way to get it to do this.  If so, it's a no-go.   Can anyone familiar with, and using the BUTT encoder give me some help with this one?

Thanks.

You need to point BUTT to the NowPlaying.txt that RadioDJ generates usually on the C:\ drive unless you've specified another location from the now playing plugin.

It may also be a problem with Shoutcast 2.4.7 as there have been issues with listener numbers not showing in other encoding software this could be another bug.

Have you tried asking on the Shoutcast forums? See if DrO or someone else knows what may be happening.

I understand this post is 120 days old, It appears to be a bug, I am using the RadioDJ 1.8.2 with the Standalone some encoder and also have tried the Butt no NowPlaying.txt that RadioDJ generates from the C:\ drive show any songs title or listeners counts. The some encoder plugin embedded in RadioDj is already crap out. Is there anything that are working right now. Please let me know. Thank you.

I got some simular problems with some encoder plugin for RadioDJ. It will work one day but after that day it starts skipping with the report "Encoding queue is out of space ( some data could not be send to the " The rest can't be shown because i can't make this screen wider. It doest this continues with 8 to 15 secends intervals. Ot only stops when i stop the stream program and start it again.

The internet connection is more than suficient enough ( 20mbit upload ) and all is connected through a Gigabit router/ switch. The computer is running W7/64 bit. It is an Quad core 2,4gHz. only running RadioDJ, Nettime, Stereo tool 4.87, Studioscreen.
Running 3 editions V1.8.2 at www.salto.nl and v1.8.2 at radio251.nl. ( NOW with 2 live studio's! )

Thanks Ricky, I was able to get the some encoder Plugin_Encoder.VB.2.5.3 to work. However the Standalone isn't working with either C:\NowPlayning.txt or the C:/NowPlaying.txt none of these two format has worked for me thus far. Again thanks, the Plugin_Encoder.VB.2.5.3 is working for me.
