Adding Sweeper to Track

Hi All,
First thing, I'm a newbie, but I get most of the program with the exception of adding a sweeper to a track. I have followed countless you tube videos, this site, and others...I still can't get the sweeper to play over the track. I properly added the sweeper to the program, the track, and also picked the sweeper and added it to the track...but when I play it in the track in the program or cue monitor, I can't hear the sweeper. Can someone walk me through this, step by step please.

First, you need to edit the track and to add the intro cue point (only if you plan to run the sweeper right before intro).
Then, in rotation you must set the sweeper position to play.
