windows 10?

Newer versions can not be installed on windows 10...please, solve this...

No issues running RadioDJ on Windows 10 here did you follow These Instructions on how to install the program?

Yes but what? These screenshots don't give us a lot of Information to go on.

Please check Windows error logs for any details of what is causing you issues.

Control Panel>Administrative tools>Event viewer>Windows Logs>Application

Also can you Copy and paste details of any .NET error messages using the # code tags.

Hang on what part of the installation are you having issues with?? .... Take a deep breath get a coffee and look at things again.

You've missed something somewhere i know lots of people who have got up and running from the tutorial on my blog....

Well i got it working fine on a windows 10 too. I guess what the problem could be is not installed everything or copied everything ( Hidden files ) or even the administrator start could be forgotten. Sometimes they forget to setup an audio device or selected the wrong one.

To this person, it works on Windows 10. Delete the directory and download the file again from this site. Do this without using WiFi! Why? If it drops or some kind of mess up in the connection, you could loose some packets causing the file to be corrupted. Just connect to a cable and download it. Unpack it again and start everything up.

How to be sure it works? I installed it on a windows XP machine, reinstall with windows 10 on another computer. Switch the hard drive from one computer to the new one, setup the database and it was working like a charm! Even all the settings made were intact. ( GREAT JOB Marius! ) Update? DOne within 10 minutes and fully operational again. It can be done on Windows 10. ( Legal versions that is )

During the first installation, I didn’t install Maria DB. Only later I’ve seen that I should have. I’ve tried everything from stretch: Maria DB, database setup, Radio DJ. When I run Radio DJ, there is an error. How to reinstall everything and start again?

You may be missing .Net framework 3.5. It is not installed by default on freshly installed Windows 10 systems.
Follow steps described in this Microsoft Community forum thread to make sure .Net 3.5 is installed.

Windows 10 should install .Net for you when you open the database setup... It did for us when we first tested RDJ W10.

Dankisha did you actually click on the "Install Database" option in the database setup tool? RadioDJ won't run if  the database isn't installed...

If it's NOT that then I'm fresh out of ideas.... :bash:

There are two more possibilities:
1) RadioDJ.exe or its DLL files are silently blocked by security software
2) Some or all RadioDJ files are marked as downloaded from internet and insecure. This can be checked in file properties - if there is an "Unblock" checkbox. See screenshot:

I installed fresh Windows and the program was working but as soos as Windows was updated, the same error appeared. I've tried on two different computers.

I had the same error I radiodj of installing Win10 . Now I try to see if the zip file is the block and then update .NET and do you know if it works
