Tracks manager doesn't sort properly
« on: August 12, 2016, 01:36:15 AM »
I have found out (actually a long time ago) that Tracks manager doesn't sort all attributes properly.

Stuff like Artist, tittle, year, etc works just fine.
But stuff like "Priority", "Artist Played", "Date Played", and "Count Played" sorting doesn't work right.
I just tested the fields that are visible on the pictures.

See pictures. Thanks for help.

Priority:

Artist Played, Date Played:

Count Played:

Don't think so, if it is a bug, the answer is for Marius and he is very busy.

No, it's not just you. The issue has been reported before and, IIRIC, the year column sorting was fixed.
Temporary workaround to make datetime column sortable is to set short date format in Windows regional settings to sortable timestamp, like yyyy.MM.dd to get 2016.08.17. To do that you'll have to dig deep. Open Windows control panel, search for "date format" and select "Change, date, time, or number formats", then click "Additional settings..." button at the bottom of window and switch to "Date" tab. There you can enter custom short date format. Changes should take effect after restarting RadioDJ.

On, causes to mark all songs as played.
Are the setings ok?

That issue was resolved a moth or two ago and it was caused by artist separation feature because one artist's name contained "; ;". As a result all artists with spaces in name were marked as played.
Filip83 has posted the new images you see here in same imgur.com set as the previous images.

Oh guys thanks for all replies. Yes the other issues were resolved. To be really honest this issue with the sorting is not really that important. I just wanted to make sure that Marius is aware of their existence.

Judging by your reply I am guessing he knows about it already. Therefore there is no more to discus here and we can move on.

Jhonny thanks for trying, sorry for the confusion. ;)
