Some ideas from a usability point of view....

Hi,
I have been 'playing' with RadioDJ for a couple of weeks. First of all: congratulations on a great programme! As a usability analist there are just some things that I would like to address:
1. The play button in the top left corner: As this is the most important button I would advise you to make it bigger and give it a different color to make it more obvious that this button is the button to press in manual mode.
2. There should be and administrator role and and a presenters role. The administrator role should be able to change carts, add tracks to the playlist etc. while the presenter can only select carts, tracks etc. In that way, the administrator can make sure that the music on the list is fitting the stations format.

Just my thoughts....

Welcome to RadioDJ community.

Great to see someone chiming in on UX. I agree about the play button and would like to add that the button should be a two-state button and reflect playing state.
The second point you mentioned - user access control - is already in works and will be available in upcoming RadioDJ version. There is no ETA for the next version.

Aside from that, there are multiple accessibility issues in RadioDJ UI. The UI is unusable with screen readers because controls don't have accessible text description and some parts of UI are not reachable using keyboard navigation.

Thanks for the feedback!
1. The play button in the next version will have a PLAY/PAUSE function and to go to the next track you will have to use the slot play button, or the assigned keyboard shortcut. The different icons will reflect the main play button state.
2. As Gary wrote, this is implemented in the next version.

This is also one of my concerns for the new version and i'm trying to implement it.
