The new WordPress plugin (0.7)

There is a new version of the WordPress plugin.

Version 0.7.0 contains one bugfix and multiple enhancements:

* Enhancement: Added reCAPTCHA for request verification
* Enhancement: Make sure tracks in playlist queue can't be requested
* Enhancement: Added option to disable name input field for requests
* Enhancement: Added option for request per-IP-address limit duration
* Fix: Check request limit using selected time interval rather than comparing date
* Enhancement: Option to disable IP address detection for visitors behind a proxy
* Enhancement: Added options to disable request submission and display a message
* Enhancement: Option to control track types available for requests
* Enhancement: Option to control track types displayed by [now-playing] shortcode
* Enhancement: Display a dismissable notification when request submission is disabled

Let me guess. An old PHP version? What PHP version are we talking about here?

Fixed that issue for folks using PHP 5.2 and older. Please re-download.

I was trying to install on top of previous version, forgot to deactivate it, all is good

Just installed and tested here all seems to be in order.

Started 0.7 off in its own new topic so people don't get confused between versions.

Thanks, Gary. I believe people will get confused anyway, just like those who install the old 0.5 version and ask for help on the 0.6.x thread.

Could you please proofread interface texts of the plugin and ping me if there are any mistakes or confusing wording? English is not my first language and sometimes I miss out articles and mess up word order.

No, line-in title can't be displayed by the WordPress plugin because RadioDJ does not store that data in the database.
But you can use the web export feature of now playing plugin to send data to the website.

again I'm sure I'm beating a dead horse I downloaded the plug in (wordpress for rdj)  I'm using the newest version of wordpress well I have tried to follow of the post on the subject but after awhile its like holy crap any way I had my webhost open port 3306 had to purchase a dedicated IP any how my fire wall shows in and out 3306 open I'm trying to open port foward on my router  oh and I made a static ip forgot to include that so I put in info should I put in  OTHER,FTP, hhtp,Aim PPTP ? do I name it radiodj so to speak?  so I then put the port #s in 3306-3306 it reads( Failure! Please check your inputs)

hey everyone I have not been able to resolve my issues I'm sorry to be such a pain I'm really trying just some hiccups i do appreciate all input from everyone and i think some of us forget you all help because your nice and not because you have to not a paid gig well enough rambling hopefully some where out in that big www. i might find my answers LOL......  honestly you guys and gals are very helpful

Sorry, I've been quite busy recently and RadioDJ community has been pushed lower on my list of priorities.

Please, slow down a notch. Your posts are a bit hard to read but I get a general idea.
I might be able to help if you post a screenshot of the router setup page including the error message. If you don't feel like sharing the details in public PM me the details but don't expect a lightning-fast response.

I had not realized the plugin was up to 0.7 until this morning! I deleted the old plugin and uploaded the new. Here is what now displays on my Requests Page using the shortcode:



Here are the PHP settings on my Web host (I'm at 5.6):



I also made a point of verifying the DB settings:



Version 0.5 of this plugin was working quite well for me earlier in the day, except for it telling everyone that their file had already been requested instead of giving a success message, because the request was processed successfully otherwise.

Does anyone see anything obvious that I'm missing?

hi i have a problem with wordpress plugin it does not put all my albums for request i get a red cross after title?

The tracks are just played and can't be requested at the time.
