Why did you remove the port number? Are you using port 3306 now?
I am, therefore I think.
I design and develop web apps, and have created few RadioDJ plugins - https://axellence.lv/downloads/

I didn't change anything that you put except the actual password.

70.171.105.78:21     (that is how I had it in the script using port 21   )

Sorry, I thought the error message had to include a port number.

I can connect to your MySQL server on port 21, so that is not an issue.

Please forward a different port (443,80,8080) and test again.

Ok I tried port 443 and this what it says.

Connection timing: 0.337s
Connected to website@70.171.105.78:443
Database 'radiodj161' selected

But I still can not get the request script to work.

I'm glad you made it work.

Both of those URLs redirect visitors using JavaScript. That's not a great idea because visitors who have JavaScript turned off will see a blank page. That also prevents search engines from indexing content of the site. If your intention is to not be found on search engines, then it's fine.

I suggest setting up redirects in a .htaccess file using Apache mod_alias Redirect directive:
Code: (.htaccess) [Select]
# Premanently redirect requests page
Redirect 301 "/request.html" "http://w3zhotline.com/NewSite2015/Requests.html"

# Premanently redirect tunein page
Redirect 301 "/tunein" "http://w3zhotline.com/NewSite2015/Player2.html"
I am, therefore I think.

i'm going to have one last go :D i done this as well http://hottunez-radio.com/request-a-jam/error.php
and its telling me its deprecated

That's because mysql_ is deprecated and no longer supported with php 7
To learn - read the rest of it as it tells you what you need to do....

Quote
Deprecated: mysql_connect(): The mysql extension is deprecated and will be removed in the future: use mysqli or PDO instead

(That's what happens when you try using other peoples scripts/code (lol @ no i don't bloody copy and paste thanks)) So Yea  :P
