v1.7.3.0 Popular Artists do not play

I'm using v1.7.3.0 and my popular artists from whom I have more than average songs of, do not play often. Example: I have 18 songs by a popular artist. Play Count for each song is 0 to 1 or 2 but other artists with less songs play 35 times. Please guide me as to how I can have my popular artists play more. I've set the music category to play "Least Times Played". I've tried all other ones like least recently played, etc. but still, to no avail. Thank you

If you need some tracks/artists to be played more often than others, usually this is done by creating a subcategory named "heavy rotation" or so, which is set multiple times in the rotation.
