The windows server is on a VPS and i connect remotelly via RDP. The thing is, all these vps devices they dont have sound card. That means that a "dummy" soundcard driver must be installed as a plugin in order to make it work. In winamp i used Null Output Plugin (NOP). Im not very familiar with the radiodj though

Try Virtual audio cables to act as a soundcard.

Im not being funny guys but this is the weirdest installation ive ever tried in my life. RadioDJ on a VPS is so f up!! first it was the framework, then it was the database, now for some reason, i installed vac, virtual sound card is running but there is no option to select it in windows, nor in radiodj app. i am trying really hard to make it work. Apart from that, the server does work, but whenever i go into the shoutcast page and listen to the stream for a few seconds, stream goes offline and the radiodj simply does not accept any songs anymore. The song on the right turn into red whenever i try to click play on the left

Not really sure what else to suggest, I know a few people who have RadioDJ running a remote Windows server so it can be done.

Windows server 2012 can be a steep learning curve in itself.

As for the streaming side of things there isn't a lot we can do about that either. Like I said before try a standalone encoder rather than a plugin.

There are some things you will have to figure out for yourself there's only so much we can do to help.

Have a play around and one day you will get it working. Read tutorials and posts on here.

I finally fix it!!!!! After a few hours trying to figure out what was wrong or what should be done, i found out that in order to have a vac in the vps, i had to go into the RDP settings and choose to play sounds on the remote desktop, while before it was "play sounds locally", which means the vps sound plays through my pc/laptop.

I will make a complete RadioDJ on VPS manual for other people who might find it difficult to setup initially, when i get the time. Can you please listen to my station to check the quality??? www.pavlos.co.uk:8000

If it works alright i will move onto creating a website, etc....
