Modulation Loss Plugin needed
« on: April 19, 2017, 07:12:10 PM »
Hello!

Occasionally, our scheduled programming via the internet is interrupted or runs short. When this happens, our transmitter automatically switches presets (in response to a modulation loss error) over to a USB drive where we have several hours of programming. The problem is that we have no way to switch back to the Radio DJ computer at the top of the next hour. Are you aware of any plug in that will automatically start playing a predetermined playlist when Radio DJ runs out of mp3s to play?

Thank you!!

This sounds to me like a silence detection. Now i know a little program that can run in the background that checks for audio on the soundcards. If a silence is detected, you can switch something and when the sound comes back, it switches back to main program.

Maybe this is simething for you? You need to do some soldering though for bringing the switch outside and useable. The schematic is provided on the site. ( Link Pira CZ: http://pira.cz/show.asp?art=silence )
Running 3 editions V1.8.2 at www.salto.nl and v1.8.2 at radio251.nl. ( NOW with 2 live studio's! )
