Record phone calls while live

I'm realizing I do not have the board I need to pull off what I want to do, which is record phone calls while music is playing, so I can play them back later.

Most everything I find deals with people placing live calls on their podcasts or talk shows. Since I am going to have to purchase another board to accommodate this, I need help in understand just exactly what I need, plus how to set it up.

Can someone please describe for me the kind of mixer I will need, the channels and such, plus how to do it?

Alternatively, depending on how your mixer is connected, you can just patch audio from a cell phone into the board by use of the headphone jack on most phones...
