Podcasting anyone?

I was playing today with a few podcast feeds. I found that is very simple to parse them simple to implement them in rdj.
Many websites are providing free news or shows and using the feeds they provide is simple to add in rdj the podcast address once and to forget about it and will always play the latest added file without needing to rename the files or renew the links.

If it sounds interesting, i can add the parser to rdj.

Personally I have not looked through podcasts recently, I think if I could find an entertainment news one it would interest my audience. Certainly could be something to implement

Look at http://www.somenews.co.uk/ I have used his podcasts in the past they are quite entertaining and topical.

Hmmm, this sounds interesting. It would be an easy way to "spice up" the radio a bit.

I was playing mainly with news podcasts, because the new version will have the option to play files in overlay mode. For eg. you play a bed, and you set the cue next, not to the end of the file like before, but somewhere closer to the start, and the next file from the playlist is set to play as overlay, it will start playing over the bed, and the bed's volume will be lowered.

Thanks, this is a great addition.  Looking forward to going thru some of the above links.  The main difficulty I've had so far is finding short content (5 or less minutes) with audio only...
