RadioDJ v1.7.1 Released!

CHANGES:

- Added Auto Genre option on Import [NEW];
- Added option to import files by drag and drop on search results area. Files will be imported in current subcategory/genre.
  Be careful to select a subcategory/genre otherwise the imported files will be visible only when is selected Any Category/Any Genre.[NEW];
- Fixed bug which prevented to disable tracks;
- Fixed Aux Player Toggle Loop event and shortcut;
- Minor bug fixes.

TO UPDATE FROM THE LATEST VERSION v1.7.0:

METHOD 1

1. Replace all .dll files with the new ones;
2. Replace RadioDJ.exe with the new one;
3. Replace PluginInterface.dll with the new one;
4. Add "settings_artists.txt" to the RadioDJ folder.

METHOD 2

1. Unzip the new version somewhere on your HDD;
2. Delete from the new package the settings files (they are named like settings_XXXXX.xml);
3. Copy all files from the new package over your old files in order to overwrite them;

ALTERNATE METHOD 3

1. Replace all the files with the new ones;
2. Customize the settings for the program/plugins;

NO DATABASE CHANGES ARE REQUIRED!

Thanks for another fast release, Marius.

I just updated and already have some questions;

It's great that auto genre works, but shouldn't it add new genre entries? I tested with tracks having ID3v2.3 genre "Poetic Pop" and they were imported with genre "World" which is alphabetically last genre in DB.
I understand that it could get out of hand fast with so many possible genres out there, but would still be great to have RDJ create new genres as an option.

Does that mean this version does featured artist separation logic?

First it checks if the genre with exact name exists, if not it ads it to the db.
In my tests it worked as it should. Tomorrow i will be back at home and able to test it again.

It looks that you are not using a 1.7.0 database. The update procedure is only for that version.

And we used it when we make an outdoor party with interviews of artists

I tested with other tracks and it appears that RDJ creates new genres but doesn't assign them to imported tracks.

After investigating my database, I see that genres are added with zero id fields. I'm not sure why, but id field is missing AUTO_INCREMENT. It's strange because it is there in database.sql.
